The "quiver" containing push core tubes for sampling sediment descends from the ship to the seafloor, carried in view of remotely operated vehicle Oceanic Explorer's camera, 12 May 2014. Samples gathered by the vehicle will be used by Neus Campanya i Llovet of Memorial University, Newfoundland, for her research into biodiversity of the animals that live in and on the seafloor.
