Adrian Round of Ocean Networks Canada led a tour of the Marine Technology Centre for the Indigenous Mini University Camp. The camp hosts Indigenous youth from around the province to encourage the path of post-secondary school.

Afterwards Jessica Brown, Monika Pelz, and Tina Kelly, a representative of the Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre, took the students to the Patricia Bay Park to connect with intertidal ocean life. The students loved catching the tiny shore crabs and finding new shells. They were also treated to an Osprey fishing and a few curious seals.
