Recovery of the Seafloor Compliance apparatus from ODP 889, 21 May 2010 (dive r1328). Approx. Depth: 1258 m. Approx. Lat: 48°40.2387' N, Lon: 126°50.8832' W.
The SFC apparatus, developed by Nigel Edwards and Ele Willoughby at the University of Toronto, has been used to study the evolution and behaviour of gas hydrates layers buried in the seafloor.
