ROCLS, the ROPOS Cable-Laying System, holds a 12.5km spool of power and fiber-optical cable, 8 May 2010. This cable will connect the ODP 1027 main instrument platform to a bottom pressure recorder, one of three at ODP 1027 that are critically important to the NEPTUNE Canada tsunami detection network.
