Fish observed near the Cascadia Basin/ODP 1027 instrument platform, 12 May 2010 (dive r1327). Approx. Depth: 2660 m. Approx. Latitude: 47°46' N, Longitude: 127°46' W.

When we visited the ODP 1027 platform, we found this fish resting on the seafloor next to it. It is an Abyssal snailfish (Careproctus ovigerum). The laser beam spacing is 10cm.
