The sediment trap at Barkley Canyon pod 3 was found to be plugged by an accumulation of sediment (indicated by the darkly shaded lower portion of the funnel), 11 May 2014. Unforunately, the majority of the collection tubes were discovered to be empty because of the blockage, which occurred not long after deployment in 2013.
