As if holding a sword, the remotely operated vehicle Oceanic Explorer wields a push core tube used to collect sediment samples from Barkley Canyon pod 3, 11 May 2014. Data from these samples will be used by Neus Campanya i Llovet of Memorial University in Newfoundland for her research into biodiversity of the animals that live in and on the seafloor.
