Bubbles rise from the push core "quiver" after the remotely operated vehicle Oceanic Explorer entered the ocean for dive OE 115, 10 May 2014. The push cores, each marked by a different national flag, were used to collect sediment samples from the seafloor, as part of a Ph.D. research project by Neus Campanya i Llovet of Memorial University in Newfoundland.
