This INDEEP experiment platform was placed in the axis of Barkley Canyon (depth 985 m) in 2013 and recovered on 5 May 2014. The research, led by Anna Metaxas (Dalhoulsie University) and Eva-Ramirez-Llodra (NIVA, Norway) compares colonization by deep-sea organisms on various surfaces and materials in different benthic environments.
